Summary: Supports company and Corporate Communications goals by successfully developing and implementing comprehensive employee relations programs and strategies. Serves on a variety of assigned project-based teams, primarily providing support for internal and HR communications, including employee newsletters and emails, also provides support for other communication areas as needed.   Essential Duties/Responsibilities: ·         Develops and implements communications plans for internal programs and initiatives, such as safety and employee recognition. ·         Provides communication consulting and training services to internal clients and staff proactively and as requested. Includes recommending communication objectives, key messages, strategies, timing and specific channels. ·         Writes for a variety of audiences and formats, including print, broadcast, electronic and web communication ·         Develops and manages the production of a wide variety of communication materials including newsletters, articles, presentations, speeches, videos, emails, intranet articles, brochures, posters, digital signage, etc. ·         Develops plan and implements internal events, such as employee town halls. ·         Researches and writes executive speeches. ·         Develops and produces internal communications on compensation, bonuses and the company’s earnings. Adept at communicating financial information that is easily consumed. ·         Assists in managing content for intranet site, including developing and posting new content. ·         Serves as editor of internal emails, including organizational announcements, safety messages, benefits announcements and leadership messages. ·         Serves on the media relations team and may respond to media inquiries.  ·         Develops and implements advocacy communications plans on issues that may impact the company and/or to influence key legislation. ·         Supports the launch of new communications channels, such as internal social media or mobile apps. ·         Reports project status and hours worked. ·         Keeps track of dollars spent against the Corporate Communications and/or client budgets, as required. ·         Collaborates with graphic designers to produce attractive and effective communication materials.   Education: Requires a bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, English or related field, from an accredited college or university.  Experience: Requires a minimum of 10 years of experience with strong, proven experience in writing, editing, and managing communication projects from planning to completion.
